The short version: your answers to the Pentest Planner stay in your browser. We only receive something when you choose to ask us for a quote or a review.
The planner itself
As you answer the planner's questions, your answers are held in your browser (session storage) so you can move between steps. To turn those answers into a day range and price band, they are sent to our server, which returns the plan and does not store your answers. Close the tab and the answers are gone.
When you ask for a quote or a review
If you submit the "get a quote" or "expert review" form, we receive what you type (name, work email, company, website, an optional message) together with the plan you generated, so we can reply. We use this only to respond to your request. We do not sell it or share it with anyone outside our team.
Those messages are delivered to our inbox through Resend, an email provider, acting on our behalf. Your email address is used as the reply-to so we can get back to you.
Cookies and tracking
No advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. The only things stored on your device are your theme choice (light or dark) and your in-progress planner answers, both of which live only in your browser.
Hosting
This site is served by Cloudflare. Standard server logs (for example IP address and request time) may be processed by Cloudflare to deliver and protect the site.
Your choices
- Clear your browser data to remove your saved theme and any in-progress answers.
- Ask us to delete a quote or review request you sent by emailing us.
